Turbocharger compressor housing is responsible for collecting the air from diffuser and transporting it into air inlet pipe of engine. In the meantime, compressor housing will further compress air and reduce inflow speed of air coming from diffuser in order to increase the air static pressure. Aluminum alloy is usually used to cast compressor housing which requires a smooth internal surface.
